In Balhashskom copper manufacturing plant (
KAZAKHMYS PLC, Kazakhstan) had a routine inspection of the mesh filter element filter manual FRU-190-2, delivered in July 2013. Filter was installed and has been in continuous operation since the end of July, that is about 3.5 months. Regulation of filter cleaning was kept in strict accordance with the requirements of the manual. Use a combination of treatment: reverse flow of water and, if necessary, - brush cleaner.
As a result, the inspection found a perfect state of filter - no goals cells and debris buildup in stagnant zones filter.
Perfect condition of filter shows the correct approach of the plant management in selecting the type and parameters of the filter under specific conditions of a well-run service of process equipment in accordance with its operational documentation.
