Self-washed automated filter for fine water treatment. FSC-M series.

Filters are modifications of FSC filter for fine water filtration.

The working principle is based on capturing and collecting the debris by two independent screen filtering elements of first and second stage which are independently and periodically backflushed. The working pressure interval is 0,520 bar, optimal operating pressure is 210 bar.

Technical features

  • Two-stage filtration;
  • Screens of first and second stage are installed inside of the filter;
  • Second stage cylindrical screen is immobile , first stage screen is flat and turning upon back-flush mode;
  • Total filter area is 1,5 times larger than similar FSC filter area;
  • Both screens have slots for collecting solid contaminants on filtering mode;
  • Consequent periodical back-flush of both screens in automatic mode;
  • Back-flush without interrupting the filtration;
  • Non-malfunction operation in case of large debris;
  • Additional reverse back-flush mode upon capturing long-sized debris by the filter;
  • Insignificant periodic flow rate of back-flush water;
  • It is delivered with electrodrive (380 V, 220 V) and/or pneumodrive;
  • Control is performed by means of programmed electric control box on modern electronic hardware.

Designs description

Filter FSC-M (Patent of Ukraine 99025 dated 07/10/2012) consists of electrodrive, cylindrical body and lid, inlet and outlet pipes, separate discharge pipes from screens of the first and second stage.

Second stage screen tightly covers framework that has slots of squirrel cage form. Framework is immobile inside the filter body.

The turning dirt collector is installed collinearly to a framework by means of plain bearing. This dirt collector has two rectangle-shaped inlet nozzles (similar to shape of slots of filtering element). Upon back-flush mode the dirt collector turns and its inlet nozzles consequently coincide with every slot of the framework.

Slotted first stage screen is installed on a framework of radial ribs which is a part of turning dirt collector. This framework forms fan-shaped slots. Also the first stage slots are larger than the second ones. For the first stage screen to be back-flushed the separate motionless dirt collector is installed inside of the filter.

Upon back-flush mode motionless and turning dirt collectors are consequently connected to a drain through the exhaust nozzles and the exhaust valves. As a result, back-flush flows consequently through every slot of a framework-shaped screen and cleans the corresponding screen areas from debris.

Two-stage water purification by means of one filter and correspondingly enhanced total screen surface profitably differs FSC filter from other types of filters for fine filtration.
